Indian music is well known in the world because of their film industry (Bollywood), also Indian music is famous for their variety in Indian classical, folk, film, Indian rock and Indian pop. For Indians, music has always been an integral part of their religious life. Their practical and theoretical growth in music have served music worldwide.

Indians have classified their traditional genres in Classical, folk, borgeet, baul, bhajan, odessi, rabindra sangeet, thumri, dadra, chaiti, kajari, sufi (ghazal and qawwali) and for rewarding all of them, they have multiple award and winning shows to encourage their music. for example akademi awards, filmfare awards and sangeet natak like shows.

legendary artists of old Indian musical era are Jagjeet Singh, Lata Mangeshkar, udit Narayan, Asha Bhosle, Muhammad Rafi, Alka Yagnik, Kishor Kumar and many others who have performed almost everywhere in the world and have won hearts with their soulful voices. Indians are so talented that they have also worked to add more musical instruments in their musical history, here we are talking about introduction of  Tanpura, Tabla, Thavil, Tar Shehnai, udukkai, veena and different types of Harmonium.

Their work in Classical music have given us a lot of practices to polish our musical skills and eventually the evolution brought us Indian Famous artists from film industries like Arijit Singh, Ankit Tiwari, Sunidhi Chouhan, Mohit Chouhan and many others.
