All these bands were popular worldwide and were trendsetters around the globe. These bands included The Beatles, Led zeppelin, Queen, Pink Floyd. In the recent years, Britain has produced artists like Ed sheeran, Adele, One direction, Sheryl, little mix, Jonas brothers. Ever since the debut of these artists these artists have been very popular in Britain. When it comes to hip hop, Britain takes a lot of influences from the rest of the world any big hits that famous around the globe especially in the US tend to trend high in Britain as well.

When we look at rap music in Britain. It is quite different from the rap music in US considering Britain’s rap music has been inspired by the American rap. But if we look at the rap music in Britain today, it has its own identity, it is nothing like American rap. That is one of the reason why Britain tends to be more famous in Britain than in US and the rest of the world because it is very different what the people expect, people expect it to be more like US rap. Britain’s rap music is commonly known as “Grime music”, basically what means is that it is a type rap that performed with some techno hiphop beat in the background. All the grime music has this in common, it is their signature. Some of the big names of rap in Britain are Stromzy, kano, Jme, Wretch 32, chip, Professor Green, Michael Dapaah, Riz ahmed.
